Times Michael Jackson Got ANGRY Caught On Camera

I’ve got to get them all. I’ve got to get them all in there. Yes, sir.  Yes, machine, man.  YES, YES, YES.  OH, THAT’S GOOD.  NO, HEY, HEY.  All right, stop.  Dude, I do not interrupt.  Randy! Randy!  Michael Jackson’s public image was always controlled and polished, but every now and then people saw what was really underneath.

Behind the smile and calm voice was a man who had been judged,    mocked, and pushed for years. And when he finally responded, his frustration came through in sharp words, serious eyes, and a face  that showed he was no longer hiding the anger inside.  I’ve always admired him, and having him do something like that was was pretty painful as as as an artist to another artist.

And it’s sad because, well, I think what Stevie Wonder said is true. And uh I shouldn’t say too much more than that. He should be ashamed of himself what he’s doing. I’ve never attacked another fellow artist. Great artists don’t do that. You know, you don’t have to do that.  As  you can see, Michael Jackson was deeply angered and offended by Eminem’s 2004 music video for  Just Lose It, which harshly mocked his plastic surgery, the 1984 Pepsi burn accident, and the allegations  against him. But in the next moment, you

will see him getting angry at the music director live on stage.  [cheering] [cheering]  This is one of those rare moments where Michael dropped the careful public image and spoke with real anger. Here, he is  angry and clearly tired of watching powerful music companies profit from artists while the pioneers who built the industry were left struggling.

Throughout the years, black artists have been taken advantage of completely. And it’s time now that we have to put a stop to this incredible incredible injustice. And uh like Mrs. Chaplin was saying, people from James Brown to Sammy Davis Jr., some of the real pioneers that uh that inspired me to be the entertainer that I am.

These artists are always on tour because if they stopped touring, they would totally go broke. And uh it’s been the record companies really, really do conspire against their artists.    They steal, they cheat, they do whatever they can, especially the black artists.  And he did not  stop there. Michael kept pushing the point because to him, this was not only about himself, it was about artists being used  by the system while the people with power kept getting richer from their work.

Sony, Tommy Mottola. Tommy Mottola is the president of the record division. He is a mean, he’s a racist, and he’s very, very, very devilish.  Michael then explained how much money he made for Sony before saying they underestimated him and tried to destroy his album after he became a free agent. His tone was controlled, but the anger was clear.

He was not shouting for no reason. He was saying he believed Sony used him, doubted  him, and then punished him when he gained control of his own business.  Sony, be- being um you know, being the artist that I am, um at Sony, I I’ve I’ve generated several billion dollars for Sony, several billion. And um they they really thought that my mind is always on music and dancing and and I and it usually is, but they never thought that this performer, myself, would out- think them.

So, um we can’t let them get away with with what they’re trying to do because now I’m a free agent. I just owe Sony one more album. It’s just a box set, really. And um with two new songs, which I’ve written ages ago.  And this is where the anger became more personal. Michael was not only speaking like an artist who felt mistreated, he sounded like someone who believed powerful people tried to damage his work because he became too independent  and too hard to control.

I’m telling you the truth. I write I write at least 120 songs every album I do. So [cheering] I can do the box set. Just give them any two songs. So I’m leaving Sony a free agent owning half of Sony. So I own half of Sony’s publishing and and I’m leaving them and they they’re very angry at me because of it but I just I just did good business, you know.

So the way they get revenge is to try and destroy my album. But but I’ve I’ve always said, you know, art art good art never dies.  In another moment,  Michael openly said he was tired of people lying about him. He explained that when he got angry enough, he would write down what he wanted to say so he  could set the record straight.

This was not Michael trying to entertain anyone. This was him showing real frustration  after years of being misrepresented.  Whoever humbled yourself like this child is the greatest among me. And he always surrounded himself like with children. And that’s how I was raised to believe and to be like that and to imitate that.

I don’t know what you trying to make out of it. I made a list of things I when I get angry enough, I write down what I want to say and what I want to talk about to set the record straight. Cuz you get to a point where you get tired of people lying. I get tired of situations like this where people completely lie on me and I’m sick of it.

That same  frustration showed again when interviewers kept pulling him back into rumors about his face and skin. When the questions moved toward his appearance, Michael sounded exhausted. He called the stories false and made it clear the tabloids had been selling nonsense about him for years.  Do you think that people do go too far with plastic surgery generally? Do you think it’s become So why are you so defensive when people say Mick Jagger’s had one, Paul McCartney may have had one, uh Michael

Jackson’s had one.  Then I’ll do it that way.  What do they do?  Just pick on me like I’m the only one that does it. That’s why.  So, if you if people said, “Well, actually Michael’s the same as everyone else.”  Yeah.  Then it wouldn’t upset you so much.  upset me so much.  You know, if you want to have a face-lift, you have a face-lift.

Yeah. If it makes you happy.  But as the questioning continued, the frustration  became even more visible. Michael did not explode, but his answers became sharper,  and you could feel that he was tired of having to defend the same things again and again.  You talked about how when you went through adolescence,  Yeah.

you had a a terrible time.  Yeah.  And in fact, I had a look at some pictures of you during that period.  Mhm.  And you did have a lot of spots.  Yeah. Yeah. And being shy as I I am and was, and even worse then. It was terrible. It was like a disease.  There were also  moments when Michael’s anger came out around his own family.

While performing with his brothers, he wanted to speak, but people kept interrupting him. What started like a normal concert moment suddenly became tense, and you could feel Michael losing patience in front of everyone.  Do not interrupt.  Randy!  You know, we can’t leave here without doing a Prince hit song. Come on, man. You may never get to say goodbye.

No, that’s not  No.  No.  This is serious.  No, we’re talking about I Want You Back. Do you want to hear I Want You Back?  [cheering]  Do you want to hear I Want You Back? I want you back.  We’ve come to a compromise.  Okay. Well, you know I want you back.  I know.  But, let’s do it the way we did it in 1974  But, not every angry Michael moment was loud.

Sometimes the tension showed through short answers, silence,    and the way he looked trapped by the questioning. In this clip, Michael sounds uncomfortable and defensive as he is questioned about medication and legal papers. He is not yelling, but the pressure in the room is obvious.    You gave a power of attorney to Dieter Weisner and Ronald Konitzer when you were under the influence of prescription medication.

Could have been, probably.  To that’s uh probably?  Probably, yes. Probably.  Were you um impaired by the taking of prescription medications or something else at the time you signed these two  documents?  Could have been.  Okay. Is that your best recollection is that you signed these while impaired, not knowing what they meant?  I maybe say so, but I’m not I don’t remember that.

Were you impaired by the taking of prescription medication  at the time you signed this?  Could have been. I don’t know.  How long during 2003 were you impaired through the because of the taking of prescription  medication?  I don’t know.  Then the questioning continued, and Michael kept giving uncertain answers.

It showed a different kind of anger, the kind that comes when someone feels cornered, tired, and forced to explain things under pressure. These moments  prove that Michael’s anger was not always explosive, but when it appeared, it came from years of frustration, pressure,  and feeling like the world kept twisting his words.

During the period of time you were taking this medication  where you weren’t impaired, did you uh ever tell one of your advisers  that you were concerned about your impairment and they better watch what you’re signing during this period of time?  Not that I recall.  As of July 3rd, 2003,  were you still at times impaired because of the consumption of prescription medication?  I’m not sure.

So, possibly you were still impaired?  Could be.  If you want more videos like this, hit  like, subscribe, and share your thoughts in the comments.
