I can’t find my baby. That was the call that launched a massive search for four-year-old Javea Harris. She was outside playing and I came out here at the cooking dinner a little bit and I’m looking for her, but I don’t see her nowhere. But tonight, arrest warrants say that story was false. She had on pink Minnie Mouse pajamas and she had pink beads. She had braids.
Investigators say Java had been dead for weeks before her mother ever called 911. Welcome back to the channel. If you’re new here, hit that subscribe button. Trust me, you’re going to want to stick around for this one. And if you’re already subscribed, welcome back. I appreciate y’all always. Now, I got something serious to get into.
This is the case out of Aken County, South Carolina. 4-year-old Java Harris. Y’all already know this story. It’s been one of the biggest stories in the country this past week. Reported missing last Tuesday by her own parents. Father’s name is Jriia Harris, 23. Mother’s name is Machili Herring, 22. Now, today, new information dropped and it changes the whole shape of this case.
We finally got the 911 call and we got what’s inside the arrest warrants for both parents. I’mma play the call for you in a second. But before I do, listen close to her voice. Listen to what she says and what she leaves out. Because right after this call went out, hundreds of people spent 5 days searching for this little girl and what the warrants say happened before that call.
That’s what we’re getting into today. So, here’s what’s actually inside these warrants. According to investigators, both parents confessed. The warrants say Java’s death came from abuse. abuse. The documents attribute to her mother, Machili Herring. And both parents, according to what’s been filed, never got her medical attention after she was hurt.
Seeing that pretty little girl’s face, she didn’t deserve to have. Investigators are pointing to an injury around June 5th. June 5th. Now, hold that date next to the other one. The 911 call, the one where she’s crying, telling the dispatcher her daughter just wandered off. That call came June 30th. June 5th to June 30th. 25 days.
25 days between an injury investigators say happened and a phone call that made it sound like the whole thing started that night. Now, think about everything that happened after that call. 3,000 acres searched, FBI on the ground, sled, 200 people in the heat for five straight days. All of it.
Every helicopter, every dog, every volunteer walking a tree line happening after investigators say she was already gone. Now, let’s back up even further before any of this. Yeah. All right, guys. Uh we are waiting to go live on Facebook real quick before we get into some of the details. But again, if you’re just now joining us, we got the warrants in the full 911 call from the Aken County Sheriff’s Office related to Java Harris and the search for her, too.
So, this is the call that the mother made the night that she said that Ja went missing. We know that that is not true because Ja has been gone for at least a month or longer. We also have new information in the warrants that detail how Ja may have passed and what the parents did to contribute to that as well.
We know that they’re both charged with homicide by child abuse. So, as soon as we get the Facebook live up and running here, we will go through all of this. We will play the full unedited version of that 911 call so you can hear it for yourself for the very first time. I know many of you have been asking for the last week or so about this 911 call and we kept on telling you that we didn’t know if it was ever going to get released while this was an open investigation and uh we just received that today through a through a foyer request. So they did release that. We
will play it for you. We will go through the warrants too and tell you what new information we have learned. So, I want to start by going over the warrants here, and we can put those up on the screen. Uh, these are for both parents, but uh Michila Herring’s uh warrants, who is the that’s the mother of Java.
I’ll read it for you guys. So, new information here today. This is what the warrant says. It says uh this is the homicide by child abuse charge. says quote while committing child abuse or neglect and the death occurs under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to human life by not seeking medical attention for Ja after knowing that Java suffered injury which was obtained by physical abuse.
Now so now we know that there was an injury to Ja and the the parents knew about that injury and did not seek medical help for that injury that she obtained through physical abuse. Yeah, we can put the warrant up for people so they can see what these documents look like and what I’m reading off of.
So, you can see it in the middle portion on the right side of your screen. That’s that paragraph that describes why they’re charged with the homicide by child abuse charge. This is the mother’s warrant. And again, right in the middle, it says that this was uh homicide by child abuse for an injury that was obtain obtained by uh from physical abuse.
It says this information was obtained by the defendant’s confession and the codefendant’s confession. So mother and father’s confession to this information is how they obtained this warrant for physical abuse that led to the death of Java Harris. That’s what investigators believe. That’s what this warrant says word for word.
And then on the uh filing a false police report, it’s pretty standard. It says that uh the mother reported to Aken County Sheriff’s Office that her daughter was missing and or abducted by another person. This was determined to be false. Now, a search of the area and interviews revealed that she had not been abducted. Michila admitted that she had disposed of Java’s body at another location.
So, that is also new information that we’re learning here today that they had disposed of Ja, gotten rid of her in a different area outside of Aken County. Now, I want to go to the father’s warrant. I don’t know if we have all three, but we’ll leave this one up cuz they’re pretty similar. Um, but this this the father’s is also interesting to read the warrant.
It is page three. It’s the last one if you want to pull that. Okay, here we go. This is the father’s warrant. So, this is interesting, too, because it says the same thing as the mother for homicide by child abuse, but it says that this was obtained because the victim suffered something that’s blocked out, which was obtained from physical abuse by the victim’s mother.
So, it seems like from the warrants, it seems like there was an injury that Ja had gotten that was caused by abuse from the mother and the father is also charged with that, too. So, an interesting update here. And then again, we know that uh the warrants for the mother also say that um for the false police report saying that she disposed of Java’s body at another location.
And we obviously know that that is outside Aken County. We’ve been up in the Chester County area where Sled’s helicopters been up there. There’s been a large law enforcement presence. There’s also uh been a a a public boat ramp out there that has been blocked off for the entire weekend since we learned that the parents were charged.
So, obviously there’s been so many people asking about the 911 call. We have that 911 call. We want to play that for you live. This is unedited. You guys are hearing this for the very first time. I haven’t even listened to the full thing yet. Do you Are you ready for for us to play this? Okay. Okay. All right. We’ll play that 911 call here.
A county 911. Where is your emergency? Um, ma’am, I’m at 39 Hillsboro Street. I can’t find my baby. 39 Hillsboro Street. Yes, ma’am. She was outside playing and I came out here after cooking dinner a little bit and I’m looking for her, but I don’t see her nowhere. All right.
How old is this baby? She’s four. All right. What was she wearing? She has on pink Minnie Mouse pajamas and she had pink beads. She have brain. Is she black, white, or Hispanic? She’s me. Okay. How long ago did you see her, Mama? When was the last time you saw her? Um, I just came out here like, “Oh, last 20 minutes.
” So, I I went in the house to cook dinner and I told her, “It’s time to come in once it start getting dark.” And when I came out here, I just Okay. Okay. Just Just take a breath for me, okay? I already have them on the way to you. Okay. Do you know where she might be heading? Okay. You have any family or friends that live around the area? No, but she usually try to chase our tank and we catch them and I just I’ve been looking through the woods to try to see if I see her.
But I don’t I don’t see her nowhere. What’s your name? My name is Michelle Harris. Harris. So, could I hear the first name? Jaba. It’s spelled J A D E A Y A H. And I wasn’t out here. I’m 39 weeks pregnant. I can’t keep up with her like that. Okay. And what? Anybody else out there with her? Like that was out there with her? Any friends, kids playing with her? The way our yard is set up, it’s nothing but it’s nothing but the dogs and the chicken here at the back.
All right. Does she have any does she have any health issues, any mental issues, anything like that? They suspect that she was attended, but she’s just now trying to pull. So they don’t have no diagnosis all the way. Okay. She’s very smart though. She don’t seem like Does she talk? Yeah.
Yeah, she can carry a full conversation. Okay. Okay. You didn’t see any vehicles before you went inside or anything like that? No. But what worries me is these crackheads that wolves in this path behind the house. I don’t know. It’s I’ve always felt weird about him and I just I don’t know. Hello. I’m still here, ma’am.
Give me just a second. My my call might be breaking up because of where we at. Okay. What’s a good call back number for you, ma’am? Um, ma’am, I don’t have one. My phone is not on, but I can still call 911. Okay. Yeah. Oh my god. I have them on the way to you. Just to confirm, where was she in the house when you saw her last? No, she wasn’t in the house, ma’am.
She been playing outside today. And she asked me, “Can she play for a little bit more before it got dark?” And I said yes. And I literally her bath water is in the tub ring and dinner is cooking. And I came out here to get her and I can’t even find her. Okay. Is there a certain place she likes to play outside? Usually in the chicken coop.
And that’s usually where I find her every day. And I just looked in here and she not in here. Okay. Is there any bodies of water nearby? Um, I don’t know, ma’am. Me and my husband just now purchasing this house. I don’t know about this area much, but it’s it’s not a good area. I’ll tell you that. It’s not good. Okay. You say you search the woods.
Is that behind your house? Yes. It’s It’s like a pway right behind my house. And we we usually take the dogs sometimes in the woods to just let them run and she’ll come. So I know she knows about the woods in but I look down the same pathway that we walk and I did not see her. Okay.
And you said she was wearing pink Mickey I’m sorry. Minnie Mouse pajamas. Anything else you may be wearing? Yeah her her beads are pink. Beats are pink. Yeah, she’s got braids. I mean, I don’t know if she got on Crocs or with shoes cuz she just puts on play shoes, but I don’t, ma’am. There’s not no way that she could have got far. All right.
Are you Do you have any neighbors around the area that you’re familiar with? She might be going to? No, we don’t talk to none of these people. None of these people cuz they all mostly do drugs. I don’t I don’t associate myself with that. Have you checked with neighbors to see if they have seen her? No, ma’am.
I’m literally like I called you like 10 minutes after I stepped outside. The cops are pulling up right now. All right. Go ahead and talk to them. Okay. Okay. Thank you. All right. No problem. So there you heard the full 911 call from the mother of Javea Harris the night that she says Java went missing which we know is not true.
That story was completely fabricated and was not true according to arrest warrants and according to law enforcement as well. So you hear that worry in her voice voice. You hear the story. She said that Ja was out front and uh was out front playing in the chicken coop, wanted to play with the chickens.
She was inside cooking dinner. She’s 39 weeks pregnant. Can’t keep up with Java and she wanted her to come inside, but Java, she says that Ja asked to stay outside and continue playing. Again, we know that that call is not true and what she said in there is not what happened. And it’s hard to listen to because you can hear that worry in her voice.
You can hear that story and that’s what all of us were told all last week up until Saturday when we heard that none of that had actually happened. So, it is uh interesting to hear that full 911 call and what actually happened. Uh she also said that the father is the husband is her husband but when I spoke to the father said that that was his girlfriend.
So uh some more information with that and again said she was outside playing in the chicken coupe. Uh mentioned some people who walk around the neighborhood. She was concerned that maybe someone had taken her daughter uh had just she said Ja had just turned fouryear-old four years old. That’s when the 911 dispatcher had asked about if she was autistic, had any problems, and she said they hadn’t been tested, but she had just turned 4 years old, was very smart, can hold a conversation, was very nice, too. So, there you go.
That’s the entire 911 call that we just received. We do have the warrants posted on our website, wr.com, if you want to go check those out. We can pull those back up for people who are just now joining us. I’ll uh let me turn these over. Okay, here you go. They’re up on your screen now, too. We’ll zoom in so you guys can see this.
So, the new information in the warrants that we received is that this is the homicide by child abuse charge. So in the warrants you can see that they committed child abuse or neglect according to the warrants and the death occurs under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to human life by not seeking medical attention for Java after knowing that Ja suffered injury while uh which was obtained from physical abuse.
Now this information was obtained by the defendant’s confession and the codefendants’s confession. So they learned this from the parents. That’s how they were able to find this out. And we know from the filing a false police report warrant as well that she had said the mother had said that Java had been abducted and they later learned through interviews that she had not been abducted that she admitted that she had disposed of Java’s body at another location.
And and that’s how we know it’s outside of Aken County because the sheriff’s office is currently searching in another area which we believe is Chester County where Sled’s helicopter has been in the air the past couple of days. They’ve had drones up there. DNR has been up there and law enforcement has had a public boat area blocked off.
Your Meredith Anderson is up there today trying to get more information with that. So that’s the 911 call and the warrants that we have now learned about today, which is a huge update in this case for Java. And the search still continues. Uh there was a huge vigil last night in downtown Aken that I was able to go to and the community support through all of this has been incredible.
There was a flyer that was going around and no one had knew who orchestrated this event and who put it together or who put that flyer out. So, hundreds of people showed up to this candle light vigil last night at around 7:00 and no one spoke up about who started it and people just started speaking. Everyone just stood in front of hundreds of people and talked about how they were hurting, how this impacted them, how parents are feeling right now with little children who are having to go through this and also explain what’s
happening too. And you could really feel the heartbreak and the community’s need for answers with this case. And we’re hoping that that will eventually happen when they find Ja. But this gives us a clue as to what exactly happened and how it happened. And hopefully more information comes out and we can I we can play my story from last night that aired at 11:00 if we’ll pull that up here in a second.
But it was incredible to talk to a lot of people out there last night. And there were so many different candles and and people were showing up with Minnie Mouse balloons. That was one of her favorite things apparently. And everyone wore pink, too, which was great to see. And those of those of you who who couldn’t leave candles at the vigil in downtown actually went over to the house and put some of those balloons and stuffed animals and candles at the house last night in honor of Ja.
We’ll go ahead and play that story for you so you can hear what people had to say and what it looked like. Many here had never heard Ja’s name before, but now it’s the name behind every candle, every prayer. in every tear. For many here, this was more than a vigil. It was a community trying to process heartbreak. As a parent and as somebody who has served in this community, as a first responder, it is absolutely heartbreaking.
Tabler says the case hit her hard. I ended up having to call my adult daughter just to hear her voice because it just it it upset me so much. Throughout the vigil, people held candles, prayed, and offered support to Java’s family as the search for her body continues. He’s counting as my twin sister mate and honor Java.
Those who attended say they wanted the family to know that they are not grieving alone. We are so very sorry that you all are going through this and that we are praying for you. For Lisa Evano who says she lived near Ja, the pain is personal. She was a beautiful baby. I think of it if it was my little girl.
She says when Java was first reported missing near her home, she knew the community had to respond. when she popped up missing close to my house, I was like, we got to do something. And tonight, many say that response, neighbors, families, and strangers coming together is what Aken needs in this moment.
And I thank God everybody in Aken County came together and tried to help. And I praise God for that cuz that’s what we need to do. We all need to come together, one another. As the investigation continues, the message from this vigil was simple. Ja is remembered. Her family is being prayed for and this community is grieving together.
I’m seeing that pretty little girl’s face. She didn’t deserve that. She didn’t deserve that. So, they heard from several neighbors and community members who showed up to that vigil last night for Ja Harris. And again, there were hundreds of people up there and no one knew who started this event.
There was a flyer that was going around. We showed that to you on Sunday morning and we they had gotten up there and asked, you know, who started this? Who’s hosting that? The police came up to me when I got there and said, “Do you know who’s hosting this?” I said, “I have no idea, but I know so many people were sharing it and people showed up to support Java and I know that there’s a few other vigils that are set and uh we’ll share that information as soon as we can confirm that as well.
” But you saw what this has meant to so many people. people. I mean, they had special candles made for Ja. And it is truly heartbreaking. And to hear that 911 call and know what we know now and hearing that call and and hearing the dad’s interview from earlier this week or earlier last week. Uh it is absolutely heartbreaking as law enforcement are still trying to bring Java home.
I know there’s so many of you guys in here. I’ll try to answer questions too if you guys have any, but um I think that we could probably go over some things that we already did. So many of you are popping in and out in this case. Um, but again, uh, the warrants. Yeah, we can run. Yeah. Uh, again, if you guys are just now joining us, we got the warrants today for both parents.
And we also got the full 911 call. Again, there’s so many of you guys who are popping in and out of these lives. And I know some of you are looking for updates and asking questions and you weren’t here a couple minutes ago. So, if you missed the 911 call, we’ll play that full call again for you guys right now. Aken County 911.
Where is your emergency? Um, I’m at 39 Hillsboro Street. I can’t find my baby. 39 Hillsboro Street. Yes, ma’am. She was outside playing and I came out here after cooking dinner a little bit and I’m looking for her, but I don’t see her nowhere. All right. How old is this baby? She’s four. All right.

I I went in the house to cook dinner and I told her it’s time to come in once it start getting dark.
When I came out here, I just Okay. Okay. Just just take a breath for me. Okay. I already have them on the way to you. Okay. Do you know where she might be heading? Okay. My phone is not on, but I can still call 911. Okay. Yeah. Oh my god. I’m on the way to you. Just to confirm, where was she in the house when you saw her last? No, she wasn’t in the house, ma’am.
She been playing outside today and she asked me, “Can she play for a little bit more before it got dark and I said yes and I literally her bath water is in the tub ring and dinner is cooking and I came out here to get her and I can’t even find her.” Okay. I’m literally like I called you like 10 minutes after I stepped outside. The cops are pulling up right now. All right. Go ahead and talk to them.
Okay. Okay. Thank you. All right. No problem. So, there you have it. There’s the full 911 call from Michelle Herring. And the more I listen to it, the more I catch on to a few different things. And one thing that did stand out to me is that she said that they had just gotten to Aken County, didn’t know the area very well, but also when you think back to the circumstances surrounding this 911 call in the story that she was telling again, she’s charged with filing a false police report and they have learned that Ja
obviously was never abducted. That’s in the warrants and the story is is not true according to law enforcement. She gave a whole description of her child of Ja saying that she was wearing Minnie Mouse pajamas, thought that she was wearing Crocs, had pink beads in her hair. She gave a whole description of her child when she was allegedly missing from what she told law enforcement in saying that she couldn’t have gone far, that she was looking out in the woods.
She’s 39 weeks pregnant, had gone inside to make dinner, had this whole story that likely was not true according to law enforcement. It’s it’s shocking and it’s unbelievable to hear that 911 call knowing what we know now and what she was saying to dispatchers on the phone that night that she said Ja had gone missing.
Again, this was around at 8:45 at night that all of this was happened. She said that they didn’t talk to any of their neighbors, didn’t know any of them, just moved here. had mentioned that Java had just turned four years old, was very smart, can carry a whole conversation. Java was outside playing, she said with the chickens in the chicken coupe, and she had even said that Java wanted told her that she wanted to keep playing outside and didn’t want to come inside and went back out.
So, that’s the 911 call for those of you just joining us. And we do have the warrants as well. And that’s giving us new information as to what happened that night and and what exactly happened to Java.
