Nobody Breaks Celebrities Like Michael Jackson!

First I like to thank um  Could you look that up, Chris?    It ain’t working.  It like been there.  First I like to thank um  He said, “Eddie, pull it up like I was working for him.” I was And I was starting to do it, too. I was like, “Yes, Mike.” Wait, what am I doing?  Fans going crazy for Michael Jackson was normal, but what made Michael different was that even celebrities could not stay calm around him.

Stars who were already famous still looked shocked when Michael showed up. Some became nervous, some started laughing, some acted like fans themselves. And the wild part is Michael was not even trying to dominate the room. He was usually quiet, shy, playful, [music] and soft-spoken, but his presence was different. When Michael entered the moment, people did not react like they were seeing another celebrity.

They reacted like they were seeing a legend standing right in front of them.  Rub, how close are you?  I don’t know. Pretty  close. Like this? Or can you see chest?  I can see right about where your Nike is.  What if she back up?  That is why this moment explains his effect so well.

Michael did not need a stage or spotlight for people to notice him. Even when he tried to move quietly, his laugh and body language gave him away. Most celebrities can hide in public with a mask or a cap. Michael could not. His fame followed him everywhere. He was trying to act normal, but the world around him never treated him like a normal person.

That is what made his public life so difficult and so fascinating at the same time.  We would go We would do stuff like go to the movies and Michael was so famous he had to disguise himself. And we would come downstairs. I’d be like, “Where’s Michael?” Michael be covered up like, “I’m over here, Chris.” Michael, that’s you? Yeah, Chris.

I thought we was going to the movies. You’re not even dressed. I am dressed, Chris.  [music]  I just can’t go to the movies. We got to disguise him. Look at that. I said, “Okay.” So, we go to the movies. And what they can, you know, I’m trying to be secret, too. You know, I’m having myself and Michael laughing louder than anybody.

Everybody know MICHAEL’S LAUGHING LIKE  [screaming] [cheering]  THEN THE SPIDER-MAN MASK PROVES IT EVEN MORE. Michael puts it on and tries to walk through a mall like a regular guy, but the plan falls apart as soon as people start realizing who it is. The funny part is that his face is covered. Still, the crowd senses something.

They feel the excitement before they fully know. A mask could hide his face, but it could not hide his presence. Once one person figured it out, the whole mall changed. It was not a random man in costume anymore. It was Michael Jackson trying to disappear and failing in the most Michael Jackson way possible.  One time we was we went to the mall.

We was out Michael wanted to go to the record store or something. He [music] didn’t even know that he was famous. He was like, “I got to go to the mall. Go to the mall.” And we told him, “Michael, you can’t go to the mall, man. You forgot who you are.” He said, “Well, let’s go.” And the only thing was in the car was was a was a Spider-Man mask.

So, Michael said, “I’m going to put this on and we’re going to go.” And we got to say, “Michael, you can’t do that, man.” Spider-Man ain’t going to just be walking through the mall. Ain’t nobody They don’t know it’s you, Michael. He was like, “No, they won’t. Chris, it’ll work. It’ll work.” We go in the mall and he was getting away with it until people figured it out cuz I was wearing it and he was like, “Chris, that’s Michael Jackson in that Spider-Man mask.

” No, that’s Spider-Man. That’s Michael Jackson. [music] All of a sudden the mall went crazy and they had to scoot us out. You should have seen it.  But behind all that chaos, Chris Tucker shows another side of Michael. He was not always serious or untouchable. Around people he trusted, he could be relaxed, funny, and silly.

That is what makes Chris’s story so good. He is not talking about Michael like a distant icon. He is talking about a friend who joked around and made people laugh when the cameras were not turning every move into a headline. The same man who could shut down a mall could also sit with friends and act like a regular guy.  And we had a lot of fun, man.

I heard he did. I never got a chance to meet him, but I heard he had a great sense of humor [music] that he was a lot of fun.  He would laugh at me all the time cuz I would talk and I guess he you know, he just laughed the way talked. I was like, “Hey, Michael.” He was like,  “So, you’re so country.

You are so country.”  “I hear you’re so country.” Is that what you said?  about us. We were talking about me. He was like, “You don’t call me country.” He was like, “Don’t call me country.” I was  Eddie Murphy’s story shows the same effect from another superstar’s point of view. Eddie was not some random fan. He was one of the biggest entertainers in the world.

He had been around movie stars, music icons, comedians, and Hollywood legends. But, when Michael enters the story, the whole mood changes. That says everything. Eddie could talk about anyone, but Michael still felt like the main event. He was not trying to steal attention. He did not have to. His presence was already enough to make a private celebrity hangout feel different.

Michael Jackson would be there. He watched Cocoon there?  He was behind the door at first cuz there was too many people.    It’s too many people in the room. He was hiding behind the door. He was like, “Eddie, come.” And I went behind the door with him. We would stand behind the door.

And I was like,    He was like, “There’s so many people in there.”  And when Eddie talks about dinner at Michael’s house, it no longer sounds like a normal celebrity visit. This was Michael’s world, giraffes, chimps, Bubbles, Neverland, and that dream-like setting made even Eddie sound amazed. That is what makes the story funny.

Eddie had already seen Hollywood luxury. He knew fame and money. But, Michael’s life still felt like something else. Being around him did not feel like visiting another star. It felt like stepping into a world only Michael Jackson could create.  Did you ever get to meet Bubbles? The chimp?  Yeah, you know, I met Bubbles, but Bubbles    He had Bubbles in uh Michael had like a big like a real zoo at his house.

And really like with a big zoo with giraffes. I mean, he had a he had a facility a thing that was so big that giraffes was walking around and they like uh    It was It was huge. And uh And uh    Bubbles had gotten too old. Bubbles was in a cage like tripping like uh Mike was like, “Don’t go near the cage.” And we had dinner though, they brought the trainer, they had the brought the chimps in, and they were running around while we were eating dinner, running under the table.

It was surreal.  Mike Tyson’s story might be the funniest example because Tyson was not used to being ignored. At that [music] time, he was the undisputed heavyweight champion. People feared him and treated him like the most dangerous man in the room, but Michael did something Tyson never expected.

He gave Don King the peace sign, walked past Tyson, and acted like Tyson was just another person standing there.  There’s something funny about my Mike and interesting, right?  Yeah.  I met Mike one time. I think he was at a concert in Cleveland. I was with Don King.  Uh-huh.  Right, so me and Don come in, right? And I’m well, I’m champ and everything.

Do all this undisputed. So, Don goes and Don gives Michael Jackson the peace sign, like this.  Okay.  Right, and then so Michael gives Don the peace sign, and so I give Michael the peace sign, and Michael put his hand down.  Right.  And I’m but I’m missing that I’m saying, but in a way I thought that he played me and I know he didn’t play me.

I know he it was just he didn’t see  me. I knew he didn’t play me, right?  That small moment bothered Tyson because he was used to people reacting to him first. Michael did not react that way, and it completely threw him off.  We went backstage, right?  So, I’m backstage, and so there’s his backstage, some of his singers and stuff. He’s on stage, it’s over.

I’m signing autographs and stuff. So, Michael comes over and he he talks to Don, he doesn’t talk to me. Waits right here for the truck to come in. He’s going to go out to the car and get in the truck.  Mhm.  And I’m signing autographs for people, and people coming up to me. And I said, “Let me just go and meet Mike.

” And it’s, you know, cuz that’s really why I’m here. I want to meet Mike.  Right.  And then I go over to meet Mike, and Mike’s like this, he’s standing up, and he’s like waiting by the door, and then so that come I I come over there like this, and he said, I said, “Hey, I’m Floyd.”  Uh.  He didn’t go like this.

Don’t I know you from somewhere? Where do you come from? I I I I shared the record on the speed of sound and everything a month ago, right?  Yeah.  Everybody don’t know where I’m at and they dress me up and everything. He just wait by the door and he go Where do you come from? I know you come from somewhere, don’t you? And I said no, I just got here.

And he he just broke my ear crushing me.  Yeah.  And I said no, I’m just got here. Pleased to meet you, sir. He said okay. And then he got up and went to the car. I said that cold my Do I  hate this guy?  That is what separated Michael from other stars. Most famous people need a big entrance or loud moment to control the room.

Michael could do it with one small move. In this clip, he only teases taking off his glasses and the crowd reacts like something historic is about to happen. He smiles, pauses, mentions Katherine Hepburn, and talks to the girls in the back. It is simple, but the room treats it like a full performance. That is not normal fame.

That is Michael Jackson’s fame.  I made a deal with myself if I win more one more award, which is this award, which is seven, which is a record, I would take off my glasses.  [cheering]  Now, I I don’t want to take them off really, but  [cheering]  Okay. Well, Katherine Hepburn, who is a dear friend of mine, she told me I should and I’m doing it for her, okay? And the girls and the girls in the back and them.

[cheering]  Even during traveling, Michael could find humor in his surroundings and would make the whole situation funny for everyone.  [screaming]  The police pulled them out of here. What was he doing? He was doing a Jackson dance. He was doing all my Every time he starts, they at least pull him out. Every time.

He could never get on a roll. Poor guy. You guys got to see  Michael’s charm was not only about crowds and chaos. He could also make small behind-the-scenes moments feel entertaining. One joke or quick reaction could make everyone around him laugh. That side often gets lost because people focus on the big headlines. Michael had a quiet way of making people comfortable. He did not need to be loud.

He did not need to take over every conversation. He could say one unexpected thing in his soft voice and suddenly the whole room felt lighter.  Very dangerous to me.  In appreciation for working on the Black or White short film, we’d like to say thank you and we love you and we think you’re a good  And John?  a good job.

John?  Because everyone  John?  AND MAC.    CHRIS TUCKER SHARES ANOTHER STORY WHICH brings that softer side together. He says [music] being around Michael simply made people happy. That line explains a lot. Michael not only amazes people because he is famous, he made people feel good.  And I was in one of his videos and stuff and just love Michael, man.

We just We became friends, man. I hung out with him a lot and Michael was just so nice, man. You’d be around him and you just get happy, man. He would He would give you anything. If you liked something, like I was just complimenting a flat screen TV he had and he gave it to me. I was like, “Michael, you I didn’t want the TV.

” But then the black came out of me. I started liking everything after that. I was like, I was like, I was like, “Michael,  [cheering]  I said, I said, “Michael, I like that Rolls-Royce. That’s a bad Rolls-Royce.” Not the old one, the new Rolls-Royce, right here. He was like, “You like it, Chris?” I said, “Yeah, I like it.

” He said, “You sure you like it?” I said, “Yeah, I like it.” He said, “Well, you better go buy one cuz I ain’t giving you my Rolls.” I gave you a TV.  If you enjoyed this video, like, comment, and subscribe for more.
